Respecting and supporting children
I believe that the most essential aspect of teaching maths is to communicate the beauty and the clarity of the study while with respect to individual child's learning speed. I believe in believing in every learner, the fact that each one has the ability to learn and do the mathematics exposed to that person. I think that the purpose of training is to equip each learner with skills and logic to work and progress in community. That is why I want to serve my scholars with respect as well as to be just as supporting as possible in the learning process while challenging them to explore extra ways of thinking and new thoughts and rules. I will value each single scholar's needs within reason of what is possible and what means are available in the classroom. I will anticipate to put in as much or more time and effort put into the school day as I expect from my learners. I will accept that I have as much to discover every year like my scholars, and I will be adaptable enough to receive commentary and ready for new techniques of educating in an effort to extend to all learning styles.
Mentoring and learning together
I view my position at this spot as a pro, far in the same manner their actual school teachers are, but also as a supplementary provider of support and assistance. My duty is that of an adviser because I do not teach the whole day day of classes as my grand teacher does, therefore, I may be a source the children can use to obtain additional advice as well as can rely on for back up. My function is also that of a learner, so I view myself as a prolongation of my students, I am learning with all of them what it means to be an effective mathematics teacher.
My teaching methods
Contrary to lots of tutoring associations in Sandgate, at the time of the regular academic year, I actually represent the information which the student receives in his/her lesson. This means I don't demand that students do additional worksheets and assignments which are not actually involved in the student's maths class, but rather, I coach the student in sectors of his/her maths program which can be actually complicated such as quality and intensity of realisation, application of concepts, and test-taking strategies. Everything I do is related directly to assisting the child to better perceive the material from the maths course she/he is having and in order to improve the grade in that class.
